Hello,
It has been an extremely long time since I have written.
A lot has happened in the past seven months.
Well, after we finished the sailboat, we came up to Alaska and started our sailing business. It went well, for being our first season. After the season had ended it was time to head home, but we realized, we didn't wan't to leave. So, after much thought, we decided to move up hear.
In September, Me, my Dad, and Andrew, went down to missouri for one month to pack up everything we could take, and drive back up to Alaska.
During the summer, we built a nice small cabin up on Diamond Ridge road in Homer Alaska.
So, we are now living in Homer Alaska. I love it up here! I seriously think this is the most beautiful place on earth.
Now that we live up here I can go to seminary, and I can also take classes at the Highschool. I am so happy living here, and I never ever want to leave!
I promise to write soon! ~Kiana

Hello!
Hi! Sorry for not writing sooner. I have been busy lately.
In a couple of months we will be going up to Alaska for the summer. My Dad is starting a sailing business up there, and if everything goes good, we will be going up there every summer.
We are totally remodeling the sail boat, and when we are done with it, it will look brand-new.
I am soooo excited! On our way up there we will be stopping in Utah to see Kelsey and Becka!
I can't wait!!
Promise to write later!

Just a thought
In Church you have probably heard a lesson at least once in your lifetime, about the Crucifixion.
I have heard it many times, and I have always heard this saying in that lesson, "Christ suffered a lot for us," and it has never really sunk in how much he has suffered for us, until now.
Every time you get in a fight with one of your siblings, or argue with your parents you get a punishment, right? And every time someone commits a crime, they are usually punished, right? ( unless of course they don't get caught) but, every BAD decision someone makes, they will be punished for that bad decision, no matter what. If it's being grounded for a week, going to jail, or not making it to the Celestial Kingdom, they will be punished.
When Christ paid the price for EVERY bad decision made in the world, he was taking on the punishment of EVERY BAD decision anyone has ever made.
What if that was you, being punished for every bad choice mad in the world, that's a pretty big responsibility.
Any punishment you receive is nothing compared to what he suffered through.
I am so thankful for what He did. He suffered through way more than I could go through.
And I am so grateful for that.

A Thought
Sorry for not writing till now. I am so lame at keeping this blog. But I will at least try to write once a week.
The other day, I was looking through an old copy of the "New Era", and I came across a poem that really got my attention, so I thought I'd share it:
Life
Reading a book is like
Turning the pages of life:
Something new and unexpected
On each page.
With joy and the laughter
Come the pain and the tears.
But wrapping ourselves in a
Blanket of hope, love, and prayer,
We read on.

Girls Camp
Last weekend was girls camp. I had so much fun! Every night we had a devotional. The theme for this year was being a detective, or a spy.
The last night we had ward testimonie meeting, where the Bishop of each ward came and listened to the girls testimonies.
That night I felt the spirit so strongly. Listening to their testimonies strenghtened my testimonie, and changed my whole perspective on life.
I am so grateful for the gospel, and the opportunity I had to go girls camp.

Example's
"We are Example's of the Believers".
That is the theme this year for the youth. I really like it, because it saying that we should be example's. I think the youth are great example's. But they are not always good. So we need to be good example's to those around us, and hopefully we will influence them to do good.
There is a Scripture that goes along with this theme.
1 Timothy 4:12
" Let no man despise thy youth; But be thou an example of the
believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith,
in purity."
This is great Scripture, because it shows us how to be example's. Not just in your actions, but in your words too. I know that if we are good example's to everyone around us, we will receive many blessings.
